The 2019 Volvo V60: The Station Wagon That Doesn’t Compromise
May 24 2019, Volvo Metro West
Volvo has been improving its station wagon designs throughout the years, and for 2019 they’ve scored again. No other manufacturer today makes a more elegant and versatile station wagon. The 2019 Volvo V60 model features the Momentum, R-Design, Inscription, and Cross Country trims.
A Generously Stylish Exterior Design in the 2019 Volvo V60
The exterior of the V60 adopts many of the external styling features that have made Volvo one of the most respected designers around the globe. Each model has an abundance of standard exterior accents, too.
The Momentum has 17-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and dual visible tailpipes with chrome sleeves. The sporty R-Design includes 18-inch 5-double spoke alloy wheels, dual integrated tailpipes, coordinated accents, and high-pressure headlight cleaning. The Inscription trim adds 18-inch 10-multi spoke alloy wheels, bright integrated roof rails, an Inscription grille, painted bumper, and more. Finally, the Cross Country includes special tinted windows, aquablades, mid-level LED headlights, and colour coordinated accents throughout.
Raw Power, Intelligent Efficiency and Signature Volvo Comfort in the 2019 Volvo V60
The V60 offers similar power to its sedan cousin, the S60. The front-wheel drive V60 Momentum has the standard T5 turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with front wheel drive. It produces 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, which is plenty of power to drive virtually anywhere in Canada. The AWD R-Design and Inscription trims have the turbocharged T6 engine that delivers 316 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This engine and AWD are optional in the Momentum. The AWD Cross Country comes standard with the T5 turbocharged engine.
Volvo upholds interior design tradition with strong accents, comfort, and technology. The abundance of standard features is prominent throughout each trim. The Momentum includes dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch driver display, Moritz leather upholstery, comfort seat padding, and more.
The R-Design adds a heated steering wheel, heated seats, 4-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch graphical instrument cluster. The Inscription boasts integrated roof rails, 18-inch 10-multi spoke cut alloy wheels, and Napa leather while the Cross Country highlights a clean air quality system, panoramic sunroof, and more.
There are many other standard features and optional equipment we can’t fit in here, so the best way to experience a Volvo V60 is to take one for a test drive. Contact us at Volvo Metro West today and we will be happy to offer you several models to try out!
